Seoul Hanyang Country Club, also known as the cradle of Korean golf, holds a significant place in Korea's golf history.

    Established in 1927 as the first golf course on the Korean peninsula with support from the imperial family, it has served as a prominent stage for diplomacy and a social gathering place for distinguished individuals over the years.

    One of the club's notable alumni, Yeon Deok-chun, became the first professional Korean golfer and won the 1941 Japan Open. Furthermore, the club played a pivotal role in the development of Korean golf by founding the Korea Open and the Korea Amateur Championship. Notably, the course is adorned with cherry blossom trees, making it a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing that resembles a snowfall when in full bloom.
